Metolazone

Metolazone is used to reduce edema (swelling and fluid retention) due to congestive heart failure and kidney diseases. It is also used alone or in combination for the treatment of high blood pressure.

Metolazone belongs to the group of medicines called quinazoline (thiazide-like) diuretic. It acts by reducing salt and water in the body by increasing the urination.
