Azelastine is an antihistamine (antiallergic) medication used for the treatment of hay fever, and allergy symptoms including runny nose, sneezing, and itchy nose and eye allergies (allergic conjunctivitis)

Azelastine belongs to the group of medicines called antihistamines. It acts by blocking a natural chemical (histamine) that is produced in the body during an allergic reaction.
